Fast, friendly staff. Good chili and good mushroom and swiss. Post Superior 100 meal!!
I was disappointed we didn't arrive in time for breakfast, as the pictures of the pancakes and omlets look great. I ordered the Lasagna lunch special but was served spaghetti instead, which was rather bland. (They offered to swap it after bringing out our food, but it would have delayed our group significantly.) No discount was offered. Others also judged their food and drinks as just OK but not great. Speed of service was only OK for a quiet mid-week lunch. Decor was quite nice. We might give the place another chance when back in the area, but so far it wasn't the awesome diner we hoped for.
We went there for breakfast and dinner, and I recommend going for breakfast. The burgers were good but their pancakes and hashbrowns are amazing. We got completely stuffed eating the very generous portions.
We love it here! We stay in one of the cabins everytime we are up. Nothing like going to sleep with the windows open and listening to the river! Food is always great and they give you plenty. Staff is wonderful and very helpful. Can’t wait till our next trip!!
I love this place. A food and drink place in the boondocks of Finland. A pub with a great attitude. Makes me (a former Minnesotan) feel at home. Owner has a great.staff.
